Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large, complex electrical construction projects across commercial, mission critical, industrial, and institutional markets. This role is responsible for full project lifecycle ownership, financial performance, team leadership, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings deep electrical construction experience, strong leadership capability, and a proven ability to manage high-value projects while mentoring Project Managers and coordinating closely with field leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Maintain full responsibility for project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin performance
• Oversee and mentor Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and project support staff
• Collaborate closely with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure alignment between project plans and field execution
• Review and manage contracts, scopes of work, schedules, and procurement strategies
• Manage change orders, risk mitigation, and claims avoidance
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, and key stakeholders
• Ensure all projects meet company safety standards, NEC requirements, and quality expectations
• Support preconstruction and estimating teams with project planning, constructability reviews, and bid strategies
• Drive consistent project reporting and executive-level communication

Qualifications

• 5–15+ years of experience in electrical construction project management
• Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects and multiple project teams
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and construction processes
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing PMs and coordinating with field leadership
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing complex project budgets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills

Preferred Experience

• Background with a large regional or national electrical contractor
• Experience in mission critical or technically complex projects
• Journeyman electrician background or significant field exposure
• Proficiency with industry-standard project management and financial software
